This is a recipe I've been making in my bread machine for some time. My family often request it. * * * * * * * Ingredients
3½ cups strong white bread flour 2 teaspoons instant yeast 3 tablespoons sugar ¼ cup dried powdered milk 1½ teaspoons salt ¼ cup butter 1 large egg 1 to 1¼ cup warm water
Bread Machine Method Put all of the ingredients into the bucket of your bread machine. Program for dough and press Start. Check the dough after about 15 minutes; it should be smooth looking. If not, adjust the consistency with either additional flour or water. Allow the machine to complete its cycle. Once the cycle is complete, turn the dough out onto a work surface that's been lightly floured. Divide the dough into 12 pieces. Form the pieces into balls and place them into a 9 x 13 inch pan or two 8 inch round cake pans. Allow the rolls to rise until double in size. Brush with milk or lightly beaten egg and if desired, sprinkle with seeds. Bake in a preheated 375*F oven for 15-18 minutes or until they're a light, golden brown. Serve warm.
